Formats

Packaging by Pouch Style

Nine constructions run on our own lines in Shenzhen. A stand up pouch stands on a base gusset; a flat bottom bag stands on a real base and keeps its footprint as it empties; a side gusset bag carries the most volume per metre of film; a three side seal pouch lies flat; a back seal pillow pouch uses the least material of all; a spout pouch takes a fitment for liquids; a drip coffee sachet hangs on a mug; a custom shape is die-cut to your own outline; and printed roll film goes to your own filling line instead of becoming a bag here.

Shape and material are separate decisions, and both change the price. Every shape below runs in foil, kraft, compostable, recycled-content and standard PET/PE, printed to your artwork and specified against your fill weight, barrier and market. Minimum order 1,000 pieces per design.

Materials

Packaging by Material

Half the briefs that reach us start with the material rather than the shape: foil because the shelf life is the claim, kraft because the pack has to feel like the product, compostable because the market asks for a certificate, recycled content because the brand has a target to hit. Each of those decisions changes the laminate, the barrier and the price before the pouch style is even chosen.

These five are what we run: PET/AL/PE foil, PLA/PBAT compostable certified to EN 13432, kraft paper laminate, standard PET/PE, and post-consumer recycled content across all of them. Every page says what the material does, what it costs you elsewhere, and where it stops being the right answer.

Packaging by Application

What goes in the pack brings its own requirements, and they are the ones that catch people out. Coffee needs a valve or the bag swells. High-fat kibble attacks an under-specified sealant and greys the print. Protein powder needs a mouth wide enough for a scoop. A spouted pouch for a retorted sauce needs a fitment rated for it, not just a laminate.

A Whole Product Family, Made on One Site to One Standard

Most ranges need more than one pack. The dry food goes in a gusset bag, the treats in a stand up pouch, the wet food in a spout pouch, and the sachet line runs off a printed roll. Bought from four suppliers that is four colour standards, four lead times and four people to chase. Bought here it is one plant, one set of cylinders and one quality record.

A pouch that passes through four subcontractors picks up four queues and four chances to be wrong. Ours does not leave the site between the resin and the pallet, so when a colour drifts or a seal reads low we stop the line rather than send it on and find out later.

The Checks That Decide Whether Your Order Arrives Right

    First-off Checks

    Every artwork gets a first-off bag pulled and checked against the approved proof before the run is released. Seal width, zipper action, print position — measured, not glanced at.

    Three Passes, Not One

    Film is checked at print, again after lamination and curing, and once more before packing. Faults found at the second pass cost film; faults found by your customer cost the order.

    Repeat orders are matched to the retained sample from the first run, not to the artwork file. That is what keeps this year's pack sitting beside last year's on the same shelf.

    No designer? Send the elements and our graphics team builds the dieline and lays the design out on it. You approve the proof before anything is engraved.

    Samples of comparable structures ship free; you cover the courier. Custom samples carry your own artwork and are quoted per job, because they need the same tooling as a run.

Questions Buyers Ask Before the First Order

What is your minimum order quantity?

1,000 pieces per artwork on most pouch formats. Roll film is quoted by weight rather than by piece. The minimum is per design, not per order, so several SKUs can share one run.

Do you sell stock packaging, or only custom?

Custom only. Every bag is printed and converted to your artwork and your fill weight — we hold no finished stock to sell from.

How long does a first order take?

15 to 25 working days from approved proof to finished pallet. Cylinder engraving adds five to seven days on a first run and is skipped on repeats.

Can you match a bag we already buy somewhere else?

Yes. Send one sample. We measure the structure, film gauge, seal widths and closure and quote against what you actually have, not against a guess.

Do you charge for tooling, and who owns it?

Engraved cylinders are charged once, on the first run. They are stored here and used for your repeats. They are made for your artwork and are not used for anyone else.

Can we order under our own brand with no mention of Sayru?

Yes. OEM to your drawing, ODM from our structures, or neutral packaging with no maker marking at all. Nothing on the pack identifies us unless you ask for it.

Which markets do you already ship to?

Most output goes to Europe, North America and Australia, which is why the plant is audited to BRCGS and Sedex and the material set carries FDA, LFGB and EN 13432 certification.

What artwork do you need from us?

Vector files — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG with fonts outlined — plus a Pantone or CMYK reference for brand colours. If you have no designer, our graphics team lays the artwork out on the dieline.

Are samples free?

Stock samples of comparable structures are free; you pay the courier. Custom samples printed with your own artwork are quoted per job, because they need the same tooling as a run.

Can we see the audit and certification documents?

Yes, on request: BRCGS, Sedex, BSCI, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC, ISCC, plus the OK compost, BPI, DIN CERTCO and AS 5810 certificates for the compostable range.
